At The

Mineral Springs VFD

5804 Waxhaw Hwy

Monroe, NC 28112

The North Carolina Democratic Party, Plan of Organization, requires each precinct to hold annual precinct meetings.

The North Carolina Democratic Party Chairman, Jerry Meek, has determined that this year's precinct meetings are to be held on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008.  The Union County, North Carolina Democratic Party Chairman, Harry Crow, has identified Saturday, March 15th, 2008 as the alternate precinct meeting date, in the event that a precinct does not achieve a quorum at the originally scheduled meeting.

The purpose of these meetings, is to elect delegates to the Union County, North Carolina Democratic Party  Convention, which will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 2008, (Location TBA).

All meetings are free and open to any registered Democrat residing in the precinct.

"There's so much at stake in this year's elections," said Harry Crow, chair of the Union County Democratic Party. "Democrats have the energy, motivation and momentum to take back the White House and expand our margins in Congress and the state legislature."

"But, we need your help and hard work to do it," said Crow. "Join us as we make history."

All registered Democrats residing in Precinct #19 should attend this meeting to elect active Democrats of the precinct as delegates to the Union County convention.

All persons wishing to unite with the Democratic Party are invited to attend the meeting.

You may register to vote and participate in the election.
